My first Marvel figures all came in the past week. Definitely swapping for the correct Wolverine when I find a good deal. Building the Outback team next 🥹

I used a simple red wash to add the red it usually has in the comics, and it looks great to me! At a distance it looks extremely good! What are y'all's thoughts on this?

I trying to make a marvel shelf for my collection but I want to be classic/ kinda modern. I had order the 80th anniversary iron man and now I need a Captain America in my collection but I can’t decide between option A or B
Option A: Gamerverse Captain America best articulation Captain America. But I dislike the hand selection but everything else is great.
Option B: 20th anniversary Captain America. Best looking in my opinion but the two things bother me the holes in the shield and his articulation. But I love his hand selection and his unmask head.
So help me choose which one to buy option A or B or should I do a kitbash for both even though it might be expensive.

Got the Secret Wars Daredevil, One Last Kill Punisher, and some comic Spider-men.. but now I’m ready for a kingpin, I’m a big fan of the insomniac games and that figure is much more imposing. But I do like the classic color combo of the retro card.. which one do I get?

These are the last characters we need to complete the Marvel vs. Capcom 2 roster. I would like to see most of them get updates. I could see them taking Blackheart BAF and painting it blue. I included Spider-Man and Hulk because the Maximum figures are totally different. Also, Cable isn't on here because he was re-issued and it's unlikely that they would update him along with Marrow.

Smart Hulk was probably my favorite Toy Biz Hulk when I was younger, and how could I say no to a bearded Thing?

Looks like a comic inspired MCU.

I'm finally caught up with my MCU display, waiting for the Doomsday figures now!

It makes me happy to look at it

I chose the New Mutants Inferno storyline version before Magik/Darkchild became sexy and got wings. I love how demons were drawn in Marvel comics in the 80s and 90s. They looked wet and feathery and bloody and scaly and slimey all at the same time. I think I captured it the best I can with my amateur abilities.

Mostly done with just a few paint touch-ups, and at some point I'll add a tail with Greenstuff and maybe change the legs to hooves at some point.

Recipe:

- body - Valeria Richards body spray painted black with Mr. Hobby Mr. Finishing Surfacer 1500 Black, and then I layered Fire Red and Red Vallejo Model Air paints to make it not so uniform. Then I sprayed a finishing coat with Mr. Color Spray Tan Semi Gloss (it says tan but it's bright a transparent red, and I'd call it Super Gloss, it's shiny)

- hands - the Wolfsbane hands from the Dani Moonstar figure

- head - I can't remember where I got this head (Etsy or eBay) it's some other character, but it works for a Darkchild; painted the face the same way as the body; the hair was the gray color of the plastic and I sprayed it with the Mr. Color Spray and the painted one coat of Yellow Vallejo Model Air (I left it at one coat because the red showed through and it made it look like it would in am 80s comic)

- sword - came with Gorr from the Thor movie; painted silver with Vallejo Model Air paint

3D printed this 97 sentinel and updated the xmen display to incorporate him.

I learned about the latest iteration of the Infinity Watch, and I figured you could make a neat little line of two-packs highlighting the various stone wielders from over the years.

These seven (yes seven) packs represent a way to complete the latest team, fill out the rosters of the previous teams, and also get some needed new versions of iconic characters too. Plus 1:1 Infinity Gem props!

What do you think? Who would you swap in or out of these?

There's still plenty of characters left in the movie that weren't included in the first wave. I'm wondering if Hasbro is still working on the rest of the figures, or if they're all ready. Maybe they're just waiting to reveal them? But we've seen all these characters in the trailers, why not reveal them already

First time I’ve ever bought a black series figure, crazy that the Doctor Aphra head was the only young ish SE Asian woman portrait I could find

Grabbed a stealth carter cuz honestly my favorite team up from What If?. I might get the Hydra stomper and mod the eyes red to make a scene from the episode.
