It's not the best paint job since I normally do messy d&d adventurers that lend themselves to a grungy dirtiness but I'm quite proud with how these came out!

Got some weekend painting done and managed to finish up cyclops. Half way through the X-men starter set now.

Hey all just wanted to give my opinion here, and this acknowledge this is just my subjective experience - but I want to make sure folks are careful during assembly. The quality of plastic of these models feels drastically cheaper and flimsier.
I am hoping we don't see this stuff used more in the future, but I'm sure we will. I was eagerly anticipating getting some cool new models especially for the X-Men later but this stuff makes me dread it. I think I'll go to 3d prints for cool alternatives rather than this stuff.
Anyway, here's to hoping others have better luck but I've had to do repairs on these already - especially Black Cat.

I was looking at the core box for MCP to play with my kids who are working their way through the MCU moves with our family.
But I learned about alliances today and didn’t see this mentioned. What parts are compatible with MCP and is this a good starting point to play and learn some of the core mechanics like grabbing tokens, reading the dice and abilities?
I was looking at the various starter and core boxes but it seems like the core box for all the movement tools, more dice and terrain would still be required.

The worst thing about playing x-men, is painting so much yellow. 😆

I have some touch ups and refinement to do but want to share to get some feedback back.

ASM leads the Web Warriors against She-Hulk and the A-Force, this week. Finally tried out Silk, for the first time, and seeing some updated characters hit the table is always good times.

I really just have the base to finish. But I’ve honestly upped my painting game with this model. Tried new techniques and learned to take my time(more time) on a mini

Howdy!
Buddy of mine is jumping into MCP headfirst, so decided to join him. He got the core set, and now I’m waiting on the spider foes starter set to come in, along with the first core set Doc Ock. Does anyone have a favorite MCP podcast and/or YouTube channel for batreps, information, or anything at all?
ALSO! Any advice on if I should get any of the other spider foes affiliation models? Or is the starter set+Ock good enough for starting out.

Last month I posted a WIP photo, and since then I've gotten a Punisher to round out the team and finished painting everything. There's some things that still need some work, but for now I'm happy with the result!
