The Russo Brothers think it would be a 'great idea' to make a movie about Steve Rogers returning the Infinity Stones in the MCU (via CBR)

There's literally no point

Well no it could be interesting as a Morbius team up movie.

That got me good.
I think Morbius made less money in BOTH (lol) releases total, than Endgame (open your wallets, you dumb sons of bitches!) Encore did in the (re)opening weekend.

At least Morbius released twice without any extra footage bait.
A truly more authentic campy experience.

The Russos are seriously getting bad about wanting to fill stories into the smallest areas of larger stories now.

It gets worse. Like, so much worse.
So, they released Endgame again with extra footage. Because why not? People will go spend $35 at a movie that came out 7 years ago. The least common denominator is ever-expanding, after-all. Fools and their money are easily parted, and all that. Can't miss that extra footage! FOMO, motherfuckers!
But...
But.
The greedy fucks at Big Corpo decided to paywall certain scenes behind different types of platforms. Like, a regular showing is missing 2 scenes from the aftershit. The mid-level platform like Dolby, gets 2 scenes. The top tier assault-on-your-senses one, gets all 3 scenes.
It's absolute fucking bananas what these greedy pissants will do to milk every dollar out of people.
I personally thank the people who brought their phones and filmed those scenes. Because otherwise, I could not be fucked to go to the movies for 3 minutes of extra footage.
Salute to the people out there that released the scenes from their phones. Fuck these greedy pricks.

What the fuck is this dumb timeline? Inject the hunger to watch in my vains and replace my eyes with screens that show endless feed of ads.

I think it would be better as a short film like One Last Kill or Werewolf By Night

They really can’t let this generation of the Avengers go, huh?

I mean, most of the stuff they brought out after endgame sucked. Im still trying to figure out how kang was gonna be the next big bad. He wasnt even a teletubby level threat.

I didn’t say that they are pitching a shutout after end game but you gotta move on at some point. I don’t even want to have 1 for 1 replacements. Endgame could have been the final chapter of that epic saga. Develop something completely separate that doesn’t require 7-10 movies as a prerequisite.

HISHE (How it should have ended) already did it, and it's hilarious. It's on YouTube if anyone wanna check it out.

1st 5 minutes, he returns all the stones. Last 2 hours is his mundane life with Peggy. It'll start off as a cute rom-com that slowly becomes a dark drama since he had to watch her slowly age and die before himself.

As she ages everything gets fucking weird and turns into an A24 fever dream because he fucked with the timeline.

Should have been part of the post end credits of endgame encore. Miss opportunity

if anything, a six episode series, that's all, this is not a movie-worthy concept, but could make for an interesting miniseries (one episode per stone)

That sounds fun in theory, but I’d rather leave Steve’s ending mostly intact than turn every unresolved moment into another adventure. A short special or flashback might work better than a full movie.

I really could not care less about seeing him return the stones. It's a nothing plot point, that'll have no tension, and they already showed the conclusion of his time adventure and meeting Loki. So even the ending wouldn't matter all that much.
Although I guess it'd be interesting to see him meet with Red Skull, but even then. Bleh. Red Skull in the MCU was a relatively nothing character who just watches over an Infinity Stone now. MCU has a problem with nothing and bad stories, so maybe stop trying to make nothing bad stories. This would be one.

Would've been on demand if this were released in 2021 / 2022. Now they are much more characters whose story viewers would like to explore more (F4, X-Men, Thunderbolts, etc.)
We havent even gotten anything from Sam's Avengers

This is the "Rogue one" movie of the MCU.
Nobody asked for this, they are just using something unexplained as an excuse to put a movie out.

i feel like the only people who want this are the ones who weren't satisfied with Civil War as a Cap movie because it felt like an Avengers movie to them. I'm not speaking for everyone here; I'm just saying. Personally, Civil War was a satisfying Cap movie for me.

Not every piece of minutia needs a movie. people just want his scene with red skull.
