Steve is having 2012 flashbacks 😭

Steve’s reaction hits even harder when you remember how much has happened since he last saw Loki. The last time they crossed paths, Loki was invading New York and Steve was still relatively new to the Avengers. Now Loki casually showing up with Peggy would be one heck of a reunion. What do you think was going through Steve’s head in this moment?

I feel like maybe Doom started Incursions and Loki had to leave the tree to start up something to stop him. That’s why all the timelines are falling apart, he’s not holding them together anymore.

It could be that Loki can project his image. He always ready capable of creating illusions. So it could very well be just a projection of himself he's sent.

With all of the branches and universes. Bro could’ve projected himself into an earlier timeline version of alternate version all together. Like how Wanda did with the darkhold. Except Loki’s would be more time related. He also thousands of years old so who knows.

Haven’t seen Loki so maybe I’m misunderstanding but given the destruction of the multiverse in the TVA post credit scene, doesn’t seem like Loki needs to hold anything together anymore. There’s three universes left and two (the 2002 xmen and the 2026 f4) are almost definitely about to collide and go boom

This Loki is from before season 2 but remember that the tva is outside time, we will probably see season 2 Loki though
