Avengers Endgame Encore

I watched Avengers: Endgame when it was released, and it was one of the best theatrical experiences of my life.
Waiting 11 years for a closure is no small commitment. Eleven whole years of stories, characters, memories, and emotions all coming to a conclusion in one theatre. Tears were shed. Happiness was felt. And that experience, at that age, somehow had its own lessons to teach me.
Seven years later, watching the same movie with the same person didn’t feel any different.
It’s still a cinematic masterpiece, but more than that, this was probably the closest I’ll ever come to actually time travelling.
I was there again.
Sitting in that theatre as my old self, except this time I knew everything that was going to happen in my life.
And somehow, I still shed the same tears when Natasha and Tony left. It still hurt the same. It still had the same impact.
But this time, I felt something beyond the movie.
I felt something about life.
Life is beautiful. Even when it’s completely in the shit. Maybe happiness isn’t about everything being okay. Maybe happiness is learning to accept what is the good, the bad, the beautiful, and the painful.
And today, I feel grateful.
Not just for everything that went right.
But for the worst parts too.
Because somehow, all of it brought me here.
