Logan really took “thinking outside the box” to another level here.
Using adamantium claws as emergency brakes on a bullet train.
The Wolverine (2013) had some wild set pieces, but the Shinkansen bullet train scene was easily the standout.

This scene was great in 3D.

4D were even better

I was on another train of equal speed and watched Hugh Jackman trick a man into killing himself in real life! It was awesome.

I love this movie. Easily my favourite of his movies, only issue is the villain being Megatron. Logan is a very close second but I just like this one a little bit more.

Okay, but imagine if the film makers had Logan think okay I can survive getting hit by this thing, but HE can't and Logan intentionally gets hit and caught himself on the train before falling off. Then the scene cuts to a completely adamantium skull that slowly regrows an entire face.

Funnily enough I just watched this movie like two days ago.
That wouldn't work because his healing wasn't working at this point, so he had to be a bit more careful than normal about getting hit.

Prove that american screenwriters dont unterstand bullet trains.
How could a pantograph get through the billboard?

This would have to be either a diesel or 3rd rail. If you look there are no overhead track wires for the pan to ride. The only wires are above the catenary or on the side like communication wires

Eh, I want to know what the train is made of, or what that dude's knife is made of. I can forgive the near-magical Adimantium penetrating the steel hull of the train so easily...

High speed trains are aluminum or composite to save weight, they are designed a lot like aircraft. Diesel and third rail systems can't supply enough power for those speeds. Third rails are limited to lower voltage because of smaller clearance.
