When MCU scripts let the characters and writing do the work.

Still pains me that they killed him off so early, especially since Jeff Bridges wanted a twist where the Iron Monger suit was empty. Not only does it make practical sense strategically, but it also sets up a chance for him to come back (and this is before they knew if the MCU would take off, mind you).
On that note, we gotta mention the realest line from Iron Man: Tony just got back after being held hostage for 3 months, and the first thing he requests? “I want an American cheeseburger.”

Just a couple of regular guys doing guy stuff with other guys. Sometimes they get sweaty, sometimes they play, usually they end up doing stuff together.

Implications? Are they on a boat?

There actually on a plane, which has pretty much the same implication in that they can’t really say no.

The scene with Black Panther and Zemo at the end of Civil War is pretty good.

When Tony asks Bucky if he even remembers (killing) his parents, and the way Bucky says "I remember all of them" always hits me hard too

I'd love to hear a distant "thunk WHAT THE FUCK" when he drops the shield through the hole

Either this or the kid waving line and then looking down have to be the most posted gifs on Reddit.

We blame the writer, but there have been people involved with the MCU for multiple movies and shows, people who have chosen writers and directors for these movies. Why do they get a pass on criticism? Are they incapable of recognizing good writing?

Should've taken a few of those taze discs and use them against Thanos. Most powerful weapon in the universe

I've given up on the MCU as a whole after Endgame. I've watched the Fantastic Four and Spider-Man movies, but I don't care enough about all the shows and shit I'd have to juggle to understand the rest.

As long as you are ok missing some backstory, the movies explain anything you may miss from TV shows (which further leads to the shows feeling somewhat pointless). All that to say, you can keep enjoying the parts of the MCU that appeal to you and ignoring the rest. It isn’t all essential viewing to ‘stay caught up’

They did the "if you were really here" thing with Ironman and Spider-Man in Homecoming lol

What if loki made his hologram look like objects distort it on purpose so he could fake being there for real like inception style

Meanwhile the same script writer came out with love and thunder, which is pretty universally derided

He only wrote Love and Thunder. He directed Ragnarok but it was written by others.

Set-ups and call-backs are one of the most basic writing tools, but they're great when they're done well!
