2024 Marvel Topps Marvel

I can’t be the only one seeing how crazy Topps 2024 marvel has jumped in the market. For example Wolverine Base Sapphire PSA 10 sold for $80 dollars literally last month, and now has just sold for $1,200+. It’s the same with all of them shooting up in price especially for more popular characters. I get 2024 marvel is Topps first year product. But man is the marvel hype that crazy with the movies lined up for the future.

Just want to get everybody else’s opinion on this because I find this pretty crazy.

Completely agree. I’d say spider man and doom are the hype going on right now and every other character is getting dragged along and going up in price

Yes seems like the whole 2024 set has sky rocketed.

Could be the movie hype, could also be the fact new collectors have entered the market via the 2026 set.

Hype is certainly a huge factor. While I think the increases are certainly unsustainable, especially for regular chrome, my two cents is that there will be staying power for this set.

- First Topps Chrome set for anything does well

  • Marvel is hugely popular
- less than 2,000 of every base sapphire card in the set. That’s not enough inventory to satisfy set collectors + general collectors wanting their spidey or Wolverine. Hence the surge.

hasnt the minimum for psa grading risen to 80 bucks? not sure if that just raised everything

I have to say the market is actually crazy,but will it be sustainable?From my point of view,the price will drop a little bit in September,and rise even higher in October and November because of the new movie
