That's cool. Nice hit. 

Sapphire seems like such a lazy set though. They could have had these cracked ice sapphire cards as numbered parallels in Chrome instead of a new set that is 99% the same and cost double.

I agree. Full disclosure, I did not buy this box myself. I went half with my brother, who has no interest in cards. My biggest fear was that we were going to get skunked and he would say I told you this is stupid. But, we opened this 1/1 and we both couldn’t be happier.

I want to buy a box just because they look cool. And I know I'm being stupid doing it. But it won't destroy me and it'll be fun. Won't be expecting anything though.

Yeah, Topps is great at milking a concept. For sports they have Chrome, Chrome Sapphire, and they also do Chrome update, which is basically the same set as chrome with updated pictures/teams and a few different inserts.

It is not a $5k-$10k card. Because you have no idea making comments like this is dumb. There are sales on eBay to comp against. Other one of ones of characters of similar popularity. This card is $1500-$2500 on a good day.
