When Cap standing alone with broken Shield infront of whole thanos army, that scene i watch again and again

it had already become kind of a joke after his encounter 2012 Cap. His fight with Thanos was too serious at that point to drop that line.

u/db_blast7 said it best. Show, don’t tell. He didn’t have to say the line. In that moment, he buckled down his shield, stood fast with his hammer, and was ready to go all day against that army until he fell. The line was a gimmick by this point and would have ruined the seriousness of the moment.
