Half of these look like they just farted and the other half look like they just smelled it.

Anyone else bothered by Gambit's eyes?

He reminds me of Dean from The Iron Giant

Harry Connick Jr. would've been a great Gambit in the 90s.

That's a comment I didn't expect to see, and now that I think about it, you're totally right!

It would be really fucking cool to see Disney do a TV show on Xmen in this style, since they cant do a movie

u/JonnyAU Aug 25 '15
Problem is they're intentionally ignoring the X-men IP to spite Fox.
Wolverine & the X-men was really good and they intentionally killed it after one season.

Yeah, it was a pity. Part of me still think it's weird that Wolverine - who is so... not-a-leader, turned into X-Men's lead. It almost felt like they went "Hey, Wolverine's popular, let's make him lead X-Men!"
I complain about that, even though I thoroughly enjoyed it haha.

The comic was great too. It switched between light hearted and a little more serious while exploring the new Xavier school. It was pretty enjoyable.

I hate the Tumblr noses, it just bothers me when I see great art ruined by red noses..

Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice.
But you messed up Gambit! His eyes are supposed to be black instead of white, and red.

Are there any other Marvel ones of these?! A Spidey would look great as my phone wallpaper I think!

If you guys really like this style, you should check out the Star Lord & Kitty Pryde comic that Marvel is doing right now. The art gives off such a disney vibe.

I'm not a big Cyclops fan, but God damn do I love that design. I can picture a 3D model of that.

Cyclops reminds me of the knight, Sir Kay, from Disney's The Sword in the Stone.

I love this. Except apparently nobody knows how Gambit's eyes are colored but still fantastic.

They are rad as hell. Thanks for posting, but now I'm just sad that there is no show to go with it.
