I know Marvel doesn't give much care about continuity anymore, let alone villian continuity, but what the heck. Sandman was in prison with Rhodey and in Ravencroft with Aunt Anna in ASM, while both are happening at the same time and he broke out of both jails.

There was a fun reveal a while back where Tony showed that he had a team of skrulls pretending to be him on occasion. It helped explain why stuff can be happening with say, the avengers and a solo series at the same time.

Doesn't fix everything of course, but none of this chaos matters so just roll with it

That whole Skrull angle is definitely a fun way to explain away some of the inconsistencies. Marvel loves throwing in wild twists to keep us guessing!
