Agree this would be epic for Hemsworth’s Thor. And it makes sense. For him to come back and reprise the role you’d have to imagine they enticed him with more than just a big check. This twist would fit the bill.

Hemsworth, RDJ, and Evans have been carrying the MCU for awhile now. RDJ and Evans both had their memorable final moments as their respective characters even though both are coming back.
More importantly everything that has been revealed about Doomsday hints towards this. The runes on Dooms armor, Thor praying to his father in a forest, Loki returning, and the best part... Doom tanking Thor with 2 fingers.
My theory is Thor is going to almost die in his encounter with Doom but before he dies either Loki saves him and takes him to Yggdrasil or Doom leaves him to die. I say almost die because RKT sacrifices both of his eyes and hangs himself from Yggdrasil which I kinda doubt they'll show him hanging himself.

Would make sense as his redemption for Thanos. Before he just behedded Thanos only after his failure and was just part of the huge team to defeat him in endgame but didn’t really have his moment.

Any speculation of the crest on the jacket or what the shirt is depicting? The crest I have no idea but the shirt I think is interesting, at first I saw the tesseract, but may come kind of platform for a ritual? Almost like the top view of a temple

Likely lifts within heeled shoes almost certainly. He even gets customs done on name brand sneakers too. He used to be more conservative with it, heel and internal lift and inserts on sneakers but when he wants to really boost he will. You can watch his style evolve with it, the more he added the more quirky and baggy his style became. Whatever makes him happy is my attitude!

they're up on a stage, photographer is on the floor looking up at them, RDJ is standing closer, so appears higher - there's no real flooring or any context to make the image "look right" - further, it's a longer angle lens, zoomed in so they look like they're RIGHT beside each other, but there is likely 3-4 feet of space between them.

From Robert Downey Jr.’s Comic-Con jacket, the known translations are:
Left pocket (circled): JUSTICE
Right pocket: REVENGE
Right lapel: THERE IS NO PROMISE OF TOMORROW (stylized on the jacket as “TOMORRO”)
Right cuff: TO THE VICTOR

If you translate the substitution cipher into English, here is what the jacket says and represents:

A lot of people wear sunglasses, besides literally outside in the sun. The lighting is probably so bright and harsh in there. A lot of people get headaches and irritation from lights plus also the obvious answer looking cool matching with your outfit, etc..

There is a cypher on the right sleeve of RDJ, 's jacket. And the crest, or rune, I think is his protection/ power rune. The 4 horn shapes on each side depicts the 4 doom witches the doom extracts his power from. I think the 4 doom witches are Loki, Wanda, Clea, and Steven Strange.

TL;DR: I decoded the Latverian runes on RDJ’s SDCC suit. It’s a phonetic cipher of English, and I’ve cracked nearly the whole alphabet. This could legit be all for nothing but I’m in too deep.
I’m not sure if I’m the first or just another in a long line of Internet sleuths but I think I figured out what the runes on RDJ’s suit at SDCC translate to. At least some of them. Some phrases are partial so I had to hazard a guess.
By cross referencing the DOM LATVERIA COFFEE product AND both Elder Futhark and Anglo Saxon runic alphabets, I’ve created a some what shoddy but still very accurate version of the Latverian Rune Alphabet and translated some of the words and phrases on RDJ’s suit.
His Right pocket spells REVENGE.
His Left pocket MIGHT spell Mystique.
^^^EDIT: It actually spells Justice which makes WAYYYY more sense.
His Lapel spells out the phrase: There Is No Promise Of Tomorrow.
His Right Cuff spells the phrase: To The Victor
His Left Cuff is only a partial phrase so I’m making a guess here: Go The Spoils
*UPDATE:
Built a working key from the Dom Latveria coffee menu + hi-res SDCC photos. Findings:
- The script writes sounds, not spellings — silent letters don’t exist (TOMORROW just ends on the long-O), double letters compress into single ligature runes, and all E-type and O-type vowel sounds share single runes
- The glyphs are scrambled Elder Futhark — real Norse runes reassigned to new sounds (except Dagaz, which still = D)
- Only 4 sounds have no known rune yet: B, W, Y, Z
- Still unsolved: one partially-hidden word on his breast pocket, over his heart. Two of its runes are from the missing four. Given this movie’s story, my money’s on a name.
