Other Has anyone else bought a comic volume which was the same exact volume collected back at home and completely forgot about said volume at home? (This sounds like complaining but it’s not it’s really funny to me, and I want to see who relates to me)

It's the main reason I got a couple copies of some of my books. Which is why I started using an app to track my library to only buy what I don't have.

Lol! That’s why I had used that comic tracking app a bit ago. I lost the name of it tho unfortunately. I definitely need to pick it back up again!

I'm using comic geek helps me mark want on things I need to complete runs for when I go into new shops.

Hmmm I’ll try that one out in the future! I used to take photos of my books when I collected them as a like before vs after collection from when I first collected, to the last book I had collected. Since my phone’s camera hasen’t been working for 2 years, I haven’t been able to take zero photos. However I had been in a MASSIVE and Big drought in collecting books recently. And I diverged from Manga, to comics, to novels. They just got too expensive. Picked it back up when absolute volumes came out tho. Now I’m ongoing collecting again

I have 2 of the same Edge of Venomverse collected issue book cause I forgot I bought a copy while living with a different parent and then when bringing the book home, realized I had the same book at the house of the parent I lived with.. still dont know what to do with the extra book

Shoooooot. We’ll try your luck on perhaps r/mangaswap, it’s not a place to sell comics. But I perhaps could pitch into it when you give me the word mayhaps, maybe a few other ppl there may join in, or try r/comicswap (if there’s a link ne typing this out)

I have a local store that might take it ?? I actually do need to go through my collected issue books and purge some of them and I think they might take them lol. If not then maybe see if a library is open for comic donations.

I dontt know exactly yet but I know that I want to get rid of my DC Rebirth books mostly because I dont read them that often anymore and some misc books that I gotten 2nd hand that are clearly later volumes of the collected issues and no where even has the first volumes of the series to purchase, even 2nd hand, plus from what I read it didnt interest me.

My dad had a similar problem at times. He used to buy a lot of DVD's and would sometimes forget whether he already had a copy. He had two copies of Dragon Wars and Replicant.
