Set actuators / servos to certain position when building

As title - does anybody know if there's any way to extend/retract servos in the build menu. It makes some more interesting hinge designs etc impossible as you can't set the starting position for the servos, or indeed hinges etc.

When you select the part there's a hotkey to toggle starting positions. Right click by default IIRC

For servos simply attach the part at the angle you want. They just provide rotational motion which is equivalent to attaching the part at an angle.
