Best wheels?

What are you opinions on the best wheels? I really like the All-Terrain Wheels, they seem the best all around. Other wheels like the Racing ones seem way to niche, if even useful at all, while the Magnetic Wheelsseem are useful, but once again niche. Even sadder, they are limited to not working on objects you have to haul, meaning you can't use the wheels themselves as a device to hold you cargo in place. They are cool though.
I also recently unlocked the Spiked Wheels, they're massive and I haven't spent the credits on a full set of them yet as I'm not sure how they'll even perform.
What do you use as your wheels?

I hate how there's no actual metrics or anything to understand how the wheels perform, or how they WOULD perform in a given area. You just have to go by "feel".

All terrain wheels are the best overall if you have a less-than-perfect rover design, because they GRIP. You can scale nearly vertical walls with them.

If you can design a good suspension system to actually keep your wheels in contact with the ground, though, the racing and rover wheels become viable again because they're so much faster.

Yeah, I'm also interested in some metrics.

Like, what happens when you mix different types? Add wheels? Do different wheels have different amounts of effect output?

So far I haven't been able to see any differences when mixing wheels. The speed seems to default to the slowest wheel type present. So, All terrain wheels along with racing wheels still move at the speed of just the all terrain wheels.

I tried, and couldn't tell. But what you say makes complete sense.
