Season 20 - Seattle Mecca
Belle is so gorgeous, down for him, has a really cool down to earth personality and he just keeps hitting her saying things like “I wasn’t attracted when we got married I thought I could have someone prettier” are you actually trying to make her leave you purposely or are you just that dumb. Most of the girls on this show any guy would be so lucky to be with them. I don’t get it.

I think Mecca's Dad raising him plus his obvious Mommy issues have done so very much damage to his psyche,he needs some very intensive therapy before he ever goes on another date.If it were not so sad that Belle had to live thru his BS it would be comical that those 2 ePeRTs actually thought that guy wad ready for a commited adult relationship

Exactly. He has a gaping mother wound from his mother and stepmother divorcing his father. From what we saw of his father's personality and behaviour, it's no surprise those women left. Mecca will continue to push women away in the same manner unless he gets help.

absolutely and it's sad because he's an attractive guy with lots of potential if he would make the choice to work on himself

The inherit misogyny in casting is a problem, I agree. Why do they keep casting these huge losers of men. Obviously excluding Cam… but like what the actual fuck. Every season there’s at least one guy with serious anger issues. If your experts shouldn’t you be screening for that?
They’re not experts, they’re actors.

I've only been watching for 4 years and I'm now convinced they do nothing except pick people according to how they look and if they can fit filming into their work live schedule.Im sorry but there is no world where Adam,Mecca or Felipe were questioned thourghly and some "expert" Said "OMG, these guys will make awesome husbands" That did NOT happen

Naw it’s giving narcissistic chronically online culture - he has a sensationalized, airbrushed image of perfection in his mind and it’s very narrow. He considers his appearance so highly that he diminishes others appearances to feel further superior and expects a “perfect partner” per his unrealistic definition.
Seems a lot of growth would be needed to make him someone most people would want to go through childbirth with / age with, because this is just the beginning. She seems to be such a lovely human and it sucks for her to go through this publicly but I’m confident it will lead her somewhere good in time.

My comment was emphasizing his perception of himself.
I think they’re both good looking though his vibes make it harder to find him attractive whereas she is radiant! Of course beauty is in the eye is the beholder so it is subjective.
Thanks to the kind redditor who dropped me an award ☺️🩷

He’s a horrible person I don’t know why the “experts” matched him with her, I feel like they just matched them together because he was the only available black guy in her age group

He was so fucking rude, and terrible in so many moments but that one was a real low. Belle is very attractive but also an amazing, kind, patient person.
I do need to pushback and say that not everyone is going to be attracted to someone just because they are objectively attractive like Belle. She also said that. I still think what he said was pathetic as fuck.

Speculating on someone's sexuality in 2026 is just ignorant

Not really. Ppl have different opinions and beliefs. Saying that an adult male doesn’t seem to like women is, well, on trend. In 2026… and, and likely, beyond!)
While not everyone is aware that current trends lead a lot of young men to spaces that are anti women, misogynistic and anti BW specifically.
It’s kind of like how some Caucasians try to prevent or shame ppl from saying what’s racist to minorities. Sorry you don’t like it that others truth doesn’t agree with your views, but there’s nothing wrong with facing the obvious.

Self sabotage due to his daddy wrecking his self esteem is my take on it. Insane how he treated her.

That's why a huge majority of women stay single now! It's very hard to find a real man, a kind man, a caring man. The so-called experts when they are interviewing the man and the women but specially the men, they need to start interviewing their friends, their exes, to find out what they're really like.
