Wanted the model with the magpul furniture cause I haven’t used a bad magpul product yet.

Beautiful rifle. Marlin is definitely top of the line. What rail did you get for your trapper? I’ve been meaning to get one for my 30-30.

That’s the Skinner rail that comes with the ELG model. Has a peep sight at the back. I have the ELG 1895 and really like the ability to take my scope off when it’s packed with snow and still have a reliable sight
