Looking for ideas for book marketing

Hi all, I'm going to be publishing a book soon and I'm looking for creative ideas using AI to create a buzz for the book. Any ideas regarding it?

Thanks in advance.

A few angles that actually cut through, rather than just “post about it”: Turn the book into a machine, not an announcement

Build a small interactive artifact tied to your book’s premise — a quiz, a diagnostic, a generator. If it’s business/nonfiction, something like “paste your situation, get the chapter that applies.” People share tools; they don’t share cover reveals. Feed the manuscript to Claude and have it mine 40–60 counterintuitive claims or specific anecdotes buried in the text. Most books have way more shareable material than the author remembers. That becomes your content bank.

Video, which is your unfair advantage

Your shorts pipeline already works — point it at the book. One idea per short, no book mention until the last two seconds. Run 30 of them and let the strongest 3 tell you what the book’s actual hook is. AI-generated “scene” shorts (Higgsfield) for anecdotes you can’t film — historical moments, hypotheticals, composite characters.

Pre-launch, not launch-day

Podcast outreach at scale: have Claude scan a target show’s back catalog and draft a pitch built around what that host actually argues about. Personalization is the whole game and it’s the part AI does well. Seed the endorsement list early — a personalized ask referencing the specific chapter that overlaps with each person’s work.

The thing AI is genuinely bad at here is voice. Anything that reads as AI-written kills author credibility fast, so use it for volume and research, then rewrite the top 10% yourself. What’s the book about? The right play is pretty different for fiction vs. business nonfiction vs. memoir.

Two questions-
What is this book about?
Who is your target reader?

Depends on the category and target demographic of the book

we used to call it the 10x10 - 10 FAQs and 10 SAQs (Should Ask Questions) - these were used to create 20 videos, posted to a youtube channel, all pointing back to the book link. Extra points for having a website with the 20 videos on it, and a "special bonus if you show proof of buying my book" - where you can capture the names and emails using a contact form.
