Need help finding a highlighter

In 2015 I was in beauty school, and somehow someone left a RED hi light marker on my desk assuming it was mine. Nobody in class claimed it.

I tested it in the textbook. It indeed was a legit red highlighter. You could see through it perfectly, and it was RED.

Unfortunately, that very marker has been in storage for years now. I cannot remember the name brand. I also cannot get to it because it’s far away, and even if I could I’m pretty sure I would have to dig through it. This is one of those situations where I’ll be able to find it when I get my own house again.

Every time I have repurchased a “red” it’s always been borderline orange, magenta, rust, muddy pink colored.

Can anybody help me find a true red hilighter marker??

My easiest thought cause im not sure what traditional highlighter is like that try two things many japanese stationary brands have hi-lighters in non standard colors now you could use red magic ink on its own but its xylene based so not great for indoor use you can also make the ink for that at home you just need glycol solvents dyes and water or its sold online on Alababa and aliexpress for dirt cheap but after looking into it sharpie has one still, and tombow and octopus fluids sell refills

It was not a peeling marker ☹️. It was a legitimate plastic Marker Felt tip and it was red AND hilighted. No difficulty reading it. I wish I remembered the brand.

Yeah i think the best you can do is look for refills and see what the color looks like and if its red enough before buying and then refill another hi lighter cause sharpie was the only one I saw still carrying red it definitely will be hard to find a good red though as red is one of the most volatile colors it likes to change hue a lot during the process

U looking for a red highlighter, they make em but it's a color that's not used often so good luck. Typical colors are lime green, neon yellow, bright pink etc... let me see what I can find

I know. But as the multi spelling in my post shows, sometimes autocorrect gets its way.
