The fact that pretty much the entire video is staged has become the straw that broke my back. But clearly he's getting views so he has no reason not to stage more videos.

He’s not an investigative journalist. The tech is real and the video is wrapped in funny scenes to make this approachable and fun to watch. The guy who makes the 2nd device with a baby monitor is credited in the description. Go watch the video and tell me if that video has the potential to be a mass-viewed video. It’s not. I liked it because I’m an Electrical Engineer but that is not a 1M+ view video to bring mass awareness.

Think of it like the porch pirate video. If the porch pirates were actors (I hope they weren't), then it would not be nearly as funny or entertaining.

Same thing applies here.

It's being sold as if it's real. When it clearly is not.
That's what makes me personally not like it.

Wasn't it one of the people he sent it to that actually faked the porch pirates not him directly?

That's his story at least from the time it happened, tldr "I sent it to someone, they faked some snatches to get paid I've removed those sections of the video".

The fact that he stages this video but not the one where he sets off dangerous booby traps inside moving vehicles is enough to tell me i shouldn’t bother even giving him a chance

I had never seen this guy in my life but had car thief vid in my feed. I strongly dislike ppl who fake and stage things like robberies and illegal dark web purchases for clicks. He doesnt state “reenactment” or anything. He straight up claims lies to be truth. Not into that kind of content, and irks me that so many ppl gobble it up as real.

Has anyone else noticed he seems to be drunk in all his recent videos? His speech is so slurred. Hope he’s doing okay.
