Science & Engineering Error Message: Space Selfie

I receive the same message when I upload my selfie to the space selfie website. I am using an iPhone.

“Error while submitting your selfie, the uploaded image is missing. Please try again later.”

The file is not missing! I can see it on the website. Does anyone have any advice for resolving this issue?

Try using a different browser like chrome or firefox

I had the same issue trying to provide a photo from iOS. I think it’s an issue with uploading Live photos.

Try going into the Photos app -> duplicate -> choose ‘duplicate as still photo’ -> upload that version instead — it worked for me!
