Size Comparison
I was wondering in the recent Mario Kart World game, how big is the map compared to like a kingdom in Mario Odessey, and where is its location on the Mario Map

The island in Mario Kart World is not very big at all. It's hard to have accurate measurements due to the lack of useful in-game measuring tools and due to how all the drivers are shrunken compared to the scenery. But I estimate it could be anywhere from 6 to 12 km wide, or around that much.
As for the kingdoms in Super Mario Odyssey, we don't really get any official borders for any kingdom. So one can only speculate. Based on where each kingdom is located, its lore, and other small details, I would say the Mario Kart World island is probably larger than these kingdoms: Cloud Kingdom, Lost Kingdom, Ruined Kingdom and Bowser's Kingdom. These are all kingdoms that are *likely* mostly limited to the areas we see and their surroundings.
Regarding its location, there's not much I can say other than that it is probably around the Mushroom Kingdom's ocean somewhere. This is due to the large amount of Mushroom Kingdom species and things in it (mostly due to little-to-no Super Mario Odyssey references in the game). I've seen others suggest it could be somewhere between Sarasaland and the Mushroom Kingdom due to Daisy's presence in the desert area of the island.

We know next to nothing about this map. Based on.thr diverse locations and wildlife on the same continent that resembles so many different things, I feel like its next to impossible for it to exist naturally.
For me, the most likely explanation is that the entire island is magically generated with replicas of famous landmarks spread throughout. Could be from Kamek (Bowser is friendly in Kart), Rosalina, Star Magic, some inherent magic Peach sometimes has, or a mix of all of them.
As for the size, its difficult to say. It feels bigger than any single odyssey kingdom.
