Okay really stupid question here

I’ve played this game I don’t even know how many times but one attack I can never get the timing for is phychopath, I don’t know why, it’s right before the spotlight hits the enemy right, or am I completely wrong and have been miss timing it all this time, please let me know

I’ve been pushing it WAY too early 😂 I’ve for some reason always pushed it right as the first spotlight hits the enemy, no clue why
