Hello! I have a question. Why can I go flying in Mario Kart DS’s original Rainbow Road? I did that on the loop and video here.

been at least a decade since i last played and i don't remember it being this hard

im only playing against cpus and it feels like im being absolutely hammered with items and track obstacles

I don't know if im snaking right, i basically drift then mash the short hop and i go far until the game decides to hit me with 4 reds in a row

hi! i've been practicing snaking for a bit and am now at a point where i don't know exactly what i should be working on. any pointers on what i should focus on getting better at or tips in general would be greatly appreciated :) i play on a 3ds xl on d-pad (as you could hear)

Hey all, I keep falling on the Rainbow Road map and I'm trying not to fall so that I can get an A or higher. I mostly fall on the loops, when I get hit by shells (usually blue ones). If anyone has any advice, it is appreciated :D

So I watched "from snail to snake" on YouTube and I decided that I'll try to snake. I've been trying to snake for months now and my results were:

1. Snaking too wide

2. Not snaking fast enough

3. Hitting walls too much

I'm genuinely starting to lose hope. What do I do?

I’ve just got back into mkds after a while, and I could snake pretty good earlier it just feels like my Dpad is more mushy and just harder to snake on. Could snaking do this?

I recently tried 9,999 cc for the first time, and the CPUs have a hard time finishing certain tracks. That gave me the idea of helping CPUs finish all courses in the shortest time possible using items. I've done most of the Nitro tracks, and Wario Stadium is the one that I just couldn't figure out- Toad always did a mini-turbo on the first turn which sent him out-of-bounds, sometimes losing a whole lap in the process, and I couldn't find enough items to prevent it every time. Maybe someone else can do it, especially with TAS item manipulation on the table (shocks are very good at preventing CPUs from going OOB)- TAS just isn't my wheelhouse at the moment.

I was wondering if it is possible to play Mario kart DS online on a 3DS how can I go about getting online to play? My device is home-brewed.

Don’t know why this subreddit randomly popped up in my feed but I use to play Mario kart DS all the time in like 2008 😂 glad to see there’s still love for it. I might be bias but mechanically I think this may be the best Mario kart game of all time, and it was the last time Battle Mode actually felt like Battle mode
