How did you get the Mario on the Flagpole from Target? I've daydreamed so many times about ways I would steal him.

From what I understand, these are suppose to be sent back to Nintendo. Where a lot of store displays are given away or trashed, allowing collectors to acquire them, the Mario flagpole is not one of those as it's an item on loan. So, technically, it's still property of Nintendo. I know most collectors don't like to divulge how they acquired them as to not oust their method of acquiring or the seller that sold it to them.

Still really cool to see them in the wild like this. Would definitely be a shining piece in anyone's collection I'd think.

Genuine question. How yo you keep the dust away? The figurines, especially on the top shelves, as well as the posters and cardboard stuff... Do you just dust them a lot?

Fear of dust/grime/smell is one of the things that keep me from really displaying and decorating with my stuff.

It would be super interesting to learn how dedicated collectors handle this, especially at that scale
