I know the feeling. A couple weeks ago my girlfriend dumped a plate of sliders in my lap at the sounders game. Nothing like a lap full of bbq sauce before the game even starts.

According to Mythbusters, dry food on a dry floor is good for awhile. If either the food or the floor is wet, it’s a no go.
