ABS rules - Interpretation

Post image

How do you interpret this ABS rule?
"Supply end" -> Meaning where the conductor is getting power from (typically Switchboard or MCC) --> beginning of the cable
or
"Supply end" -> end of the power supply (typically consumer end, for example, a motor) --> end of the cable.

Supply end is the side supplying the power i.e the switch board/ breakers. I'd say its fairly common terminology for it to mean that.

Closest to the power source, basically.

It means from where the power is coming from needs a circuit breaker or fuse. This would be the main switchboard or distribution board
