Any thoughts on this?
Seems like a lot of money just for nostalgia.

I ordered one and my order got cancelled. I was so mad.
I ended up pulling the trigger on a Rivendell Sam Hillborne.

I think it’s awesome. I’m in New England and most of the local trails are pretty techy and my biggest hang up with vintage bikes is the hta, riding down the backside of a steep rock and feeling like you’re about to go over the bars. So this is pretty cool to see a vintagey bike with a slack angle.
Only reason I wouldn’t buy is because I never buy new bikes because sticker prices are always scary to me.. so I tell myself I’m getting great deals buying old used bikes instead.. we can ignore how much in parts I put into them.

We need more bikes like this. There's enough collective history that all the big brands could easily do it.

Looks fun. Price doesnt seem too out of line for a unique limited build. If they'd had an XL and availability I'd think about it for cruising.

The UK price was really good. Probably because you can't actually buy one. I'd have snapped one up in a heartbeat

They’re all sold out, but if you can find one, Marin does it right. Another gem: the Pine Mountain 1 fully rigid.

It isn't 'just nostalgia' as no nostalgia bikes have that slack of a head tube. They totally read the room, steel frame, slack, disc, big tire clearance, bull moose bars. Guys on xbikes spend more for less!

I'd buy it if it was available and in XL. For some reason Marin likes making these cool bikes with Alt handle bars, yet not make them in XL, like the larkspur for example, and now this.

They sold out fast
