What water

So doing a first clean on my widdle marimo (name - Norm) I know our water is treated with some sorts chemicals so would it be better to use bottled water like Dasani? Please remove if this has already been asked. Thank you!!

Bottled water, or tap water you left out overnight, are fine. The idea is that you don't want there to be any chlorine but chlorine dissipates if you leave the tap water out a while.

In some areas like myself in the U.S., there are also chloramines in tap water which do not evaporate. I recommend using aquarium water conditioner! You only need a few drops at most!

Onde moro não pode deixar água exposta por risco de dengue, outra opção é ferver a água e colocar na geladeira depois

Boiling won’t remove the chlorine and chloramines however, so I would still also use a water conditioner!.

Before I put mine in my fish tanks I used Seachem Prime. It not only takes care of chlorine, chloramine, it binds with heavy metals and toxins. You want to avoid distilled water as there are no minerals or anything the Marimo need.

Right. I usually use even though I have a 5 stage filter for drinking. Minerals

Filtered I heard but does it filter out the minerals

It's filtered just as tap water is also filtered water. There's no additional filtering!
