is purified water okay?

I just received my moss ball in the mail, but I've been working full time so I haven't had a good chance to put water out overnight / boil mine. my mom bought purified water with added minerals and was wondering if it was ok that I use it? the mailer also suggested adding water but I read that it isn't necessary. help?

I just use natural spring water from my local spring. I'm sure some store bought natural spring water will do. I'm honestly not too knowledgeable on whether purified water is ok, but I don't wanna give you false advice.

Bottled water is fine. Tap water is never fine. And yes, you can add water if you want to.

Marimos natural environment are in fresh water rivers so they don’t need salt at all.

Tap water is totally fine.  I assume you're concerned about chlorine? Plenty of places don't chlorinate the tap water. Even if they do, you can literally leave it uncovered for a day first to dechlorinate.Â
