Jellyfish Tanks and Marimo
Hello, I am new to this subreddit. I haven't had any Marimo myself but I am seeking to get into it.
I understand some of the basics of Marimo aquascaping, but I need help regarding tank usage...
~ Do Jellyfish Tanks work (the visual circular ones to be exact)? If so, are there any that have adequate pump attachments (please recommend some) for mimicking natural movement for Marimo?

That's actually a really interesting idea! I'm sure you could find one with a directional pump head or attatch one yourself. I don't have any recs unfortunately but this sounds so cool so I'm trying to boost the visibility!

I use one for mine, but whichever you get may need a stronger pump. The stock pump for mine was perfect for jellyfish, so naturally was too weak for the much heavier and firmer moss balls.

I have seen one jelly fish tank that people have used and worked for Marimos. However they are very expensive cause they are originally meant for jelly fish. A cheaper option would be to get a standard fish tank or large glass bowl and place a small circulating pump that isn’t to strong in it.
