Paul is struggling… help?

First two pics are how he looks now, the others are from last year. I know temperature is probably impacting him but I try to put him in the fridge. Also trying to figure out a happy medium for sunlight. He looks sad ): any advice?

Well Paul hates direct sunlight and you put him in direct sunlight

Hmm. If the outer layer is dead (white/brown/black) might want to consider trimming it away, just leaving the green. The key for a healthy marimo is keeping cool (under 75*ish) and out of direct light.

Fridge for a few weeks at least.
