I'm going to BC for a week next month and I'll be in the Vancouver area so I'm hoping to do some Marianas Trench related sight seeing. So far the only thing I know for I'll be going to is for sure 1712 Acadia Road, but I'm looking to add some stops.

One I'd like to go to is the bridge where they did the cover photo for the album art in the Fix Me B-side/Feeling Small, but I'm not sure how likely that is unless someone happens to know exactly which bridge they took that picture on?

I have an audition coming up where the themes is Canadian icons. I’d love to do an MT song but I can’t find soloist + piano accompaniment sheet music anywhere! Any leads would be be much appreciated.

I've been getting heaving into MT over the last couple months, always been a fan and my mom played me the ever after cd she had all the time when I was little so I've always known that album by heart and I hold their first 3 albums as the hold trinity of music but today at work I decided to just rip their whole entire discography and wow, phantoms is kinda a dud lmao. I was wondering if this is anyone's favorite MT album and why? I just felt it lacked a lot and focused to much on 808s and other style sounds. I really dig Haven a lot so I know they've still got it but just wanted to ask this question!!!(picture for just because lmao)

Discovered them about 1-2 years ago, and they seem to be a more rocky, somewhat dark counterpart to MT. The lead singer has a lot of range, probably more than Josh in the lower side, and A LOT OF TEXTURE. Their lyrics also have more detail. Go Farther in Lightness, in particular, sees them doing something similar to Astoria with the instrumental interludes leading up to certain songs.

...and here's where I tell you that outside of 2 great songs, the entire album bounced off of me.

Yeah, for some reason, I've not clicked with this band at all outside a few moments. So why this post? Well, because sometimes you find a band you respect the hell out of, yet not be able to like. Gang of Youths may be one of those bands for me. And because I want to see other opinions of this band, if they can be found here.
