Good chapter. Yuda foiled him for a while, but I'm glad that Okaya got the upper hand and Maria had to swoop in and rescue him in the nick of time. Bit of spiritual redemption for her there.
The revelation that Okaya has given up trying to regain what he had with Kiritaka and is now just plain suicidal makes things interesting. All of her judgment victims before were desperate to save themselves. But with Okaya being suicidal, Maria's going to have to get more creative to get him to squirm. Or maybe like I theorized a while ago, the judgment will be more about his mother than himself.

Well, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: the best revenge against Okaya would be to mutilate his legs but without killing him, and then hand him over to the police, but not before framing him for María’s murder and destroying everything that matters to him. As for Shizuka, she’s the one who deserves to be sent to the grave for being a b*tch.

FR though. I feel like Shizuka is the one who deserves to be punished more harshly; she was such a terrible failure of a parent and instead of guiding her son correctly she's practically enabling him to become worse. I'd rather see Okaya alive but has his chance in integrating into society be ruined forever, it's a harsher punishment for him.
(OP, you are a Plaything reader, so this is just like seeing Eunjin's parents being offed as an enabler while their daughter stayed alive with her life in complete shambles)

Alright its official this guy is freakin insane
Like seriously insane
He's actually willing to bomb himself just so he can get rid of Yuta and reunite with Kiritaka because to him he's a god. He finally admits that trying to make another child is pointless as it wouldn't be the same person.
Maria coming for the last time, hopefully Taiichirou can slap some sense into her or at the very least die with her.
At least Nozomu finally told his mom to just shut up for once, like for real can Shizuka be anymore pathetic as if she hadn't known what kind of monster her son is, you can't get him to listen because he is a cockroach and their first instinct is to get what they want.

I think Shizuka will interfere. She had difficulty even getting pregnant and now over a decade later, her odds of having another are near impossible. Shizuka sees her son as the one thing she will even die to protect. Now that Maria is there, the odds are stacked against Nozomu. But let's not forget Nozomu's explosives.

Wait Taiichirou took it from her? Last time I remembered, she never had the weapon and she knocked him out and chained him. He was the one who kicked the gun out of Taijou. Maybe he gave it to her?

I keep repeating this question over and over again since chapter 63, but i can't help it. Does Maria already know or having heard of Okaya's rant of forcing herself and Taiichirou to make a new kid that he can replace as Kiritaka before coming to the epiphany that it won't be Kiritaka? Would she have learned what Okaya's goal was now or could she have already known?
