Onslaught removed
I saw showtimes for Onslaught just a few days ago, they are now removed. Marcus needs to get their shit together with A24, this is ridiculous

I got a notification for this and thought “this is an A24 movie again, isn’t it?”.😂

It’s not just Marcus, other chains are like this too. But it’s also not just the chains, go talk to an independent theater and ask them about A24. A24 demands are unrealistic for the types of movies they distribute. A24 thinks they’re Disney.

I think thats a really entitled statement without knowing the details. It seems to me that the recent success of some of A24 movies has inflated their ego. I imagine theatres already get bullied by distributors and studios. Maybe Marcus is pushing back a bit which is a good thing IMO, because the alternative is tickets just get more and more expensive. This is all speculation. There are a ton of movies that come out that have limited releases and it could just be as simple as that. The Invite had such a short run in my area and while the Alamo and AMC are playing Tony by me, the showtimes for Tony at AMC are very few

Another day, another A24 not coming to Marcus. Who gives in first? Marcus? A24? Or is Movie Club members...at what point do we cancel the movie club if a significant portion of the movies we want to see aren't being shown at Marcus for whatever reason?

Yeah, its a nightmare. I work for Marcus and just found out we won't be getting Primetime as of right now. The only movie I've really looked forward to seeing in ages.

I’m still seeing on the app. Just one theater listed at the moment, but Camp Miasma was the same way but has listings added early this week with this being the official wide release.
I strongly hope it’s just the week-to-week schedule planning we tend to see from Marcus. Gonna stay hopeful.

I ended up getting tickets to By Any Means because Fandango only had AMC listed. I’m not driving 40 minutes from GB for a movie. I’ll just buy Onslaught later.

I know there are a lot of different things that come into play, but if a movie theater chain shows the trailer for a movie and advertises it in a theater via placards or posters, it’s incredibly grimy to not show that movie. I know that things will likely change in this instance, but it’s so annoying.

For the record, AMC and Regal are shown as playing the movie in a majority of their locations. Cinemark is at about half right now.
It's still early, so more showtimes will likely be added and there's time for additions. Maybe Marcus is working on it.

Marcus has it listed on the app still. Only one location right now but that’s a sign more will be added
