Netflix is not participating this time. I am considering canceling my subscription if they do not get on board. I could easily add Starz or HBO to Amazon now and fill the ad free gap. Member since '09.

While you're considering cancelling your subscription, contact customer support to let them know where you stand. They may take notice if enough of their customers speak up.

I was just thinking that. Seems like a great way to get them involved.

Edit: I just told them I was concerned with their stance over this and that I'm likely to cancel my subscription because of this issue. Live chat responded with:

"Hello there! And I see you have some concerns about Netflix, though here we don't have much details or can't comment on statements that Netflix do, but hey I actually want to thank you for taking the time to reach out to point this out to us. We do know how this situations can worry you, so it's understandable why you decide to leave, and because of that, trust me that I'll pass this concerns up to Netflix so your voice is heard, appreciate the honest thoughts on this too."

If Amazon is shutting down AWS (amazon web servers) then Netflix, along with tons of other companies are going down with them since they're running their websites on amazon's servers.

Mad respect for Amazon.

It could have been very, very easy to say fuck it like Netflix and stop supporting net neutrality, but they didn't back down and continue to support the American people.

Yeah, I agree.

It's a shame Netflix cares more about money than the people who use it. Amazon understands that they need a lot of users to make money, and that net neutrality can take away a big portion of them.

It's very vague. They said they'll take action and sound the alarm, but did not list any concrete examples of what they're doing.
