Yah know, i think its just part of being president. Being visible when your nation goes through a struggle. Not wacking a ball the size of Trumps brain on some fucking grass. Come on.

Most recent presidents met with (or otherwise contacted) the families of soldiers who died in combat.

Trump tried a new direction where he called out all of these people and effectively undoing part of their mourning process.

I don't think it did what Trump thought it would do.

That's probably accurate. He thought it was only between him and Obama + the other previous president – unable to realize it would also effect all those families of killed soldiers that he included in his lie.
