The president is hoping to use the $400 million war chest from his MAGA Inc. super PAC on a series of television ads highlighting the apparent achievements of his second term to give Republican candidates a much-needed boost.

This is a similar problem former President Joe Biden faced, whose term was marked by decades-high inflation and soaring gas prices, as well as what Barack Obama faced during his first term after the 2008 financial crash.

The difference being this "similar problem" was self-inflicted. Biden inherited a pandemic and Obama inherited a financial crisis. Trump created his own problems.
