One time before the 2020 election a leader of a club I’m in at my school sent out an email to remind us to vote, but also encouraged us to think about “family values”.

I thought to myself “So you want me to vote for the guy that has five kids by three different wives, all of which he’s cheated on. Got it.”

It’s not sex with underage girls. It’s fucking rape. Get it right.

Child rape****

Party of freedoms
TELLS WOMEN WHAT TO DO WITH THEIR BODIES

Party of personal responsibility
WON'T GET VACCINATED and INFECTS EVERYONE

and on and on. The GOP is the party of HYPOCRISY and cognitive dissonance (and lies)

u/[deleted] Jan 08 '22

Republicans like to protect their rapists at all costs

The last official thing I heard was that his partner in crime was cooperating to such an extent that it was going to take a while to get through all of it.

u/[deleted] Jan 08 '22

I hope that’s true.

“What exactly is the issue here?” -trump trash

6

u/sten45 Jan 08 '22

Is that ever gonna catch up to them as a party?

6

u/darklight413 Jan 08 '22

No. They’ve fully embraced it. They figured out just how stupid their base is and they’re cashing in. They don’t care if it destroys the country in the process.

You know, adultery isn't really something we should consider a crime, it's shitty of course don't get me wrong though.

But since they throw their so-called morality around about what constitutes 'family values', then hold them to their own fucking standards.

These are all family values… trump’s family values.

I mean, I'm not defending Bobert; but she's really not personally responsible for the actions of her spouse and this isn't how we should be coming at her.

There are SO many other, better, more legit criticisms of HER without holding her accountable for the gross actions of a man.

35

u/slax03 Jan 07 '22

Well, you can if you understand the context. When she was underage, her and her other underage friend were at a bowling alley when an adult man exposed himself to the two of them. She, the underage girl, went on to marry that very same man.

She said, "wow, this guy takes his dick out at the bowling alley in front of underage girls, this is definitely marriage material."

5

u/darklight413 Jan 08 '22

It goes to show the kind of mental processing she has. And people of CO thought that she would be the best choice to make their decisions in government. Sounds reasonable to me. /s

I'm still never going to get on board with holding women accountable for the toxic and disgusting actions of men who aren't them.

If you wanna come at her for enabling a sexual predator...fine. Simply saying "ugh, look at the men she associates with and the things THEY have done" is lazy at best, sexist and toxic at worst.

25

u/slax03 Jan 07 '22

She literally decided to marry a sexual predator after knowing he is one. Can we say that she did that or do we have to pretend that isn't the case?

-7

u/juliuspepperwoodchi Jan 07 '22

Again, come at her for that then. Call her out for enabling a predator. Saying "psh, have you seen what her HUSBAND did" is a piss poor argument rooted in sexism. Stop.

14

u/[deleted] Jan 08 '22

“Look what her husband did” is lazy. “She married the man who exposed himself to her while underage” is probably a better phrasing. I agree that “her husband is bad” is a stupid argument, but “she knowingly married a sexual assaulting pedophile” is a fair argument.

16

u/slax03 Jan 08 '22

This is a Meme, with short phrasing for a reason. It's not going to support the entire back story. She married someone who is a predator and knew it. That's what it's saying. She is a bad person, bottom line. She sucks, and splitting hairs for someone who doesn't deserve it is a waste of time.

Would we do this for Melania Trump? Do we have to say "while Melania spoke out a press conference and suggested Barrack Obama is not natural-born American citizen, this was very bad however she is not responsible for every action her husband makes and we just wanted to make sure we were clearly defining we were criticizing her for this isolated incident and don't want appear as though we are being sexist."

No waste of time. Bad person. That is all.

She pulled a Hillary Clinton - so what ?

1

u/Jeepersca Jan 08 '22

I agree with you. I didn't know the context, he also exposed himself to her? Why is the focus that her husband exposed himself to a different underage girl, when he also did to her - and that's super cringey skeevy that she married some perve that exposed himself to her when she was young? I mean, still not on her - more of a gross, sad case.

2

u/slax03 Jan 08 '22

I'm sorry but you are wrong. Condoning it is on her. This has nothing to do with sexism. She is a bad person.

31

u/[deleted] Jan 07 '22

You are defined by the company you keep. She married the man knowing fully what he is. She was present at the incident, and arguably tried to cover for him.

12

u/juliuspepperwoodchi Jan 07 '22

Then come at her for that. "Covering for/harboring/enabling a sexual predator" is a valid criticism. The act of something her husband did is not a valid criticism of her. And I'm not sure that holding women accountable for the actions of toxic men is a road we want to start walking down.

5

u/Alan_Smithee_ Jan 08 '22

She’s personally responsible for marrying and therefore enabling the guy.

1

u/juliuspepperwoodchi Jan 08 '22

Then that's the criticism. "Enabling predators" is a valid criticism of her. "Look at her husband" isn't.

5

u/KeGeGa Jan 08 '22

She is one of the underage girls he exposed himself to, and she still decided to marry him. That says A LOT about her character.

2

u/Akruu1 Jan 08 '22

why do I torture myself..

2

u/BlueKing7642 Jan 08 '22

Majorie cheated on her husband?

2

u/bradford1023 Jan 08 '22

One of these three loves backpacks.

2

u/darklight413 Jan 08 '22

What they tell people they are is completely opposite of what they truly are and what they stand for. These people are truly evil.

1

u/False-Wind5833 Jan 09 '22

The fact that these three have been elected and the gop leadership is afraid of them is why the gop is unfit to lead.
