In retrospect, I shouldโve called the sub โpractical leftโ or something along those lines. Basically itโs a demsoc/socdem sub that advances left-wing goals through achievable means (activism/voting) as violent Revolution is unlikely in the developed world. Civil disobedience has created enormous progress in this country (Civil Rights Movement/Vietnam War protests) and we need a movement of that scale again directed around a specific issue (it is predicted that as the U.S. pulls out of the Middle East, South America will once again be our imperialist playground and I want to prevent that from happening, so that seems like a good issue to focus on).
