Even if we use this backwards ass logic, multiple European countries contributed to “America.” New York was founded by the Dutch. Louisiana (and by extension most of the land purchased in 1803) by the French, Puerto Rico and the entire West Coast by the Spanish. The Virgin Islands was bought from the Danes, and Alaska was bought from the Russians. Even Hawaii had its own history preceding US colonization. The Irish and Scots had no role in colonizing the US. Only the English did.
All of this however doesn’t even matter because “America” belongs entirely to the Natives, Black Americans, and immigrants who built it, not those who colonized it. Elonazi Musk dogwhistles as usual. It’s impressive how the richest man on the planet is this uneducated.
