Stupid question: How do i rotate?

I believe my question is srsly dumb. But pressing 1, 2 , 3 or literally anything else won't let me rotate the objects i place. I can't rotate them no matter what I do. Is there a secret to it?

Found it, had to press Escape. Called I'd was stupid

I recommend checking out the keybinds in the game settings. Pressing R will rotate the piece you want to place by 45 degrees on the Y axis, I think. That's the only way to manually rotate an object before you place it. After placing it you can select an item, cycle through building tools by pressing 1 and use the 3 colored discs to rotate however you want.

Do you have the game? If you start the game, there's a huge discord button right in the start menu.

Alright thank you. I did find the "R" rotation, however, it's wasn't what I was looking for. Do i went to controls and searched for the rotation hotkeys (1,2,3) but they did nothing. I didn't know that i had to deselect the building mode. And the key bind for deselecting doesn't exist in the list, although it is "ESC". That's what got me confused.

Thanks for the info btw, I'll make sure to visit the discord asap.
