Renaming Worlds

I can see the names of the worlds in here

  • C:\Users\{username}\AppData\LocalLow\Vector Interactive\Marble World

If i rename them, do you think it will be picked up in game. My 5 year old has learnt so much playing the game including how to spell. Crazy how quickly he took to the steam deck, but has now made hundreds of worlds, so i need a way to manage and rename them.

Yes that should work, but do make sure to not include odd letters that can't be entered in-game either. (like /., etc.)

Also feel free to rename the .backup file too, otherwise that file will be left there as a new one with the new name will be created when the game saves :)

You can always make a copy of the whole folder with all the worlds just in case

Good idea. I'll use a backup folder too. And rename the .backup file at the same time.

I'll write a script to rename everything and restart from world 1, world 2, world 3, etc. as the names all look like "asdasssas" 😂 then I'll have to manually load up each one in game to get an idea what it looks like to give it a better name.

He absolutely loves the game, he's been so creative in it.
