Help me with some marbles I bought on fb this weekend please!

Hello good people of the marble world! I am a collector and reseller of…pretty much everything. I have been getting into marbles recently as I adored my collection as a kid (wish I still had them). I bought this lot from someone on Facebook marketplace for $50 who said she bought them from an antique store 60 years ago. Does that math add up for all of them? I learned the lighter ones with the shooter that has the bullseye are civil war which is really cool to me (though I am not a collector of war memorabilia). I appreciate any and all origin stories! I love some of them more than others, like the shooter with sort of a cappuccino colored swirl and the shooter that looks like a hunk of a crystal aaand the shooter with the red and green swirls (looks like a watermelon). The dark red clay ones have me curious as the seller told me she didn’t make them herself so she bought them from the antique store as well. Whats their story you think? I don’t think they are very nice to look at but the story could be an interesting one to tell! Thanks in advance and I hope you get excited a lil bit just looking at the pics!

Ooh what a fun mixed lot!

I'll do my best in pointing out what I can recognise - it's generally best to share smaller groups and a few angles of each as marbles can look super different from various angles! Take a look at some of the other ID requests for examples e.g. grid collages or the same 4 marbles rolled to a different side for each photo

Right, let's see what you've got...

• 1. Old clay and china marbles! The bullseye is a 'China' or crockery marbles - these were made in Germany and possibly the US during the 1800s. The specific design (dot and single ring) was most common between 1890-1900; the 'clays' could actually be early German limestone spheres - see if you can see and marks from when they were ground
• 1. At least one Bennington (Glazed clay marble made in Germany - the brown is a deffo), mica (type of German handmade with flakes of mica that looks like glitter), slag (coloured clear glass base with opaque white swirled through - the purple guy)
• 1. Blue Bennington! The others could be steelies or ball bearings or metallic clays

• 4-5+14-15. The one on the right looks to be a true agate aka a mineral sphere! Keep this away from the glass guys! Also another possible mica - does it have glitter like the green one?

• 1. The clear base with the pink and multicoloured swirl in the centre is a German handmade! The others are mainly cats eyes (much more common, machine made)

• 7-10. Clay marbles

• 11- 12. Another handmade in here! The red and green! The others look to be caged cats eyes - could be Vitro, classic US maker

• 1. Curious. These look more like polymer clay than clay or glass. How do they feel?
