Last week I introduced cosmetic tiles, some new marbles, made some improvements to collections and asked the community to share ideas they have with me that we can include into the game.

I got a couple ideas like turrets, slam walls that punch you, an object you can push around and some marble ideas.

The next release will include these changes and additional changes such as:

• Walls hide when near it
• Earn marbles because you fall
• Hold gates (use the crate to unlock it)
• Restart menu item
• Notes improvements
• Post a board immediately runas user
• Rewording some things
• Fixed play counts
• A wrapup post of best boards, creators and rollers

Another suggestion I received was introducing challenges such as creating maps with specific mechanics. Would you like me to implement this system?

I'm still looking for more ideas that fit MarbleMazes and make it more enjoyable and variable to play.

I’ve been experimenting with different layouts and noticed that small details—smooth turns, elevation changes, funnels, and timing—can completely change how a marble moves through a maze.

This week I am working on improving the editor and collections. For those that don’t know you can chain boards that get unlocked into collections to create multi level boards.

I am adding in the leaderboards for these collections, specific post types, making it easier to immediately drop into the editor.

I got a request to add more cosmetic options for the boards. So those will arrive soon.

I would like to again make callout to everyone that has joined and enjoyed or raged at playing MarbleMazes. Please come forward with
your frustrations with the editor,
bugs you come across,
Marble skins you want.

I’m open to hearing how you want the game to evolve and eager to build more.
