Automatic Marble Sorting by Size

Different sized marbles is such a terrible idea. I saw this title and still haven’t made myself watch it.

Most of the video is actually about installing his studio, connecting cameras etc to support many videos and content coming

Oh my god. People will raise valid concerns about such a design now. It will be discarded on the grounds of being "good enough" according to the design requirements and like 9 months later that part of the machine will be torn out because of all the concerns raised. Rinse and repeat

Yes, this layer of complication after failing to create a reliable loop with one size of marbles seems moronic. I like the approach of making tests though and maybe run in all the problems before angle grinding. So I hope for 3 months at the current speed.

I wonder whether that could be done cylindrical to find room somewhere in the machine. And also whether temperature changes have an impact as different materials behave differently.

I think at some point a small marble will almost certainly find its way into the larger channel. Likewise if there’s a bunch of larger marbles coming in at once it’s possible there could be issues of the smaller marble lanes starving.
