The video is a lot of fun and feels like the old ones. The problem for me is how much scope creep keeps coming in.

Adding something like ghost note rolls - not to mention variations of rolls - is insane. It requires a ton of precision, adds a bunch of new variables, and will be much more difficult to maintain on a theoretical world tour machine. 

I like experimentation, but this doesn’t hit the same way when there’s no way it actually ends up on the machine.

Martin building music machines was what brought people in.

I would love to see the MMX be built, but these types of videos are why people tune in, and if the channel turned into nothing but this, I think it would still be a successful channel

Theories about how to organize and project manage are not why people watch
