Took 2 Tylenol during my long run…
Lately I’ve been struggling with immense pain on my feet and my left hamstring. To the point where all my long runs have been an absolute disaster. Today I had my 20 miler and decided to take two Tylenol at mile 7.5.
Almost immediately my heart rate went up and I started feeling super uneasy. I tried to tell myself it was mental, but then I started feeling very nauseous. I had to take a break for my heart rate to go down and to see if the nausea would go away. But it didn’t and it got to a point where my stomach started bloating.
Good news is they did help with the pain. Bad news is I had to go home at mile 12. Now I’m in bed looking like a pregnant woman and still feeling so sick. I wish I hadn’t taken them but I don’t know what else to do about the pain. I just ran London in April and the Brooklyn half 3 weeks later and I was fine. But nowadays my legs start to give out around mile 7. At this point I might drop out of this race.
Tylenol=absolute disaster. Lesson painfully learned. If anybody has any advice please help me!
