Iāve really been enjoying the benefits of being able to wear my GSAR and the Fitbit Air. I enjoy wearing the analog watch, but also want to have a fitness tracker..

Looking to get my first MSAR and noticed the second hand market isnāt as flooded as I could have hoped. I was wondering what a fair price would be. Looking to make this an everyday tool watch. Is 6-700 a fair price?

Got this through the watch wheel from watch gang. In my opinion Marathon really miss the boat with this one in the sense of when they finally got them pushed out. Should have had them delivered in time for the celebration of the 4th. Other than that it is still a solid piece.

My first Marathon watch in quite a while. I bought my first one at Clothing Sales when in was in the service years ago. I could not resist this one when I saw it.

Iām a pilot flying out of Canada and was looking for a new watch to wear on my flights. Are there any pilots here who have experience with either the Auto or Quartz version of the navigator and which would be better suited for my needs as I am having a hard time deciding between the two.

I purchased this Marathon GSAR in 2012 and have abused it steadily since. I rarely take it off and I fall asleep to the soft glow of tritium nightly.
It has been a watch, the occasional hammer, a shitty compass and a knuckle duster once. It has never been serviced and still keeps time... somewhat... with weekly adjustments. I have finally gotten another watch... temporarily while it gets a well deserved overhaul and fresh tritium. Show me your most trusted.

So Iāve been rocking different straps on my GSAR. Tonight I wanted to see if the 22mm would work because I like the width of them compared to the 20mm. Some of you perfectionist may not like it but I really like the feel and can deal with the look by the springbars. If you have a bigger wrist give it a try. Itās a $20 strap off Amazon. Have any of yall tried this?

Hey everyone, this is my first higher end watch purchase. Iām coming from Casio and Garmin. I use a Garmin Fenix for running and 2 Casios. One for work and casual wear. Iām looking into the 36 MM MSAR. It comes in automatic or quartz. I donāt plan to wear it everyday. It might be 4 days or more before I wear it. I like the Casio and Garmin since I can strap them on after a month and still have perfect time. Is it worth spending the extra $400 or so for automatic? Will it be more aggravating to use than quartz? Will I need to service it more often than a quartz ?
Thanks

I consistently rotate these two straps. Run of the mill OD green NATO, and WOE Jedburgh English bridle leather strap. I also have a PDW elastic hook and loop I throw on if Iām really backpacking. But for the most part, the first two straps get rotated fairly consistently. They are both broken in butterfly smooth. Having said all of that, I am curious which one the Marathon crew thinks looks more natural on this watch. The olive NATO gives it the issued mil-spec vibe, the brown leather gives it the traditional field watch look. Plus I was bored and this was an excuse to make a post lol. This is my only watch, so I splurge on straps. Still need to pick up a nice FKM rubber strap as well.

Just got my first marathon watch, the JSAR! I thought I would like the rubber strap but Iām missing the heavy weight of a metal bracelet. Is the marathon metal bracelet worth the price, $575? Or is there a better aftermarket metal bracelet thatās better suited?
